Throughout the 2010s, Prada never followed trends. It often positioned itself as a brand that led by doing the opposite. Miuccia Prada’s designs were thoughtful, confrontational, and always rooted in a desire to make people think.
She challenged conventional ideas of taste, beauty, and identity, proving that fashion could be both intellectual and subversive. Her collections for both women and men moved fluidly between decadent eccentricity and modern elegance.
In Spring Summer 2012, flat caps, clubs, kilties graced the astroturf laid by Miuccia. She combined disparate influences to deliver a menswear collection that was kitsch yet sophisticated.
Fueled by floral motifs, golf culture, and western-inspired elements, the collection brought together silk cowboy shirts, loud prints, and rhinestone embellishments with a knowing sense of irony.
This beautiful shirt features a contrasting yellow western yoke and rhinestone snap buttons on the placket.
