The brand’s design ethos is very much about the use of shapes and fabrics used. Issey Miyake’s collections show a range of fabrics that are manipulated to show unusual silhouettes in the garments. In this case of the PERMANENTE collection, they are more wearable than other garments Issey Miyake has created. This is due to the natural draping of the fabric and the basic kind of shapes being used. The colors are all very neutral in this collection.
