For Comme Des Garçons Autumn/Winter 2010 collection, titled "Inside Decoration", Rei Kawakubo continued her tradition of challenging fashion norms by embracing imperfection and unconventional beauty.
The collection focused on garments that appeared unfinished or turned inside out, with Rei Kawakubo aiming to give the impression of reconstruction. Much of the lineup featured segmented, oversized, and puffy designs, resembling body folds. Familiar wardrobe staples were transformed into unfamiliar, exaggerated proportions. Jackets, dresses, and coats of varying volumes were deliberately pieced together to create chaotic yet intentional forms, subverting traditional "flattering" silhouettes.
These wide sarouel pants features an exaggerated drop crotch and is crafted from 100% wool, allowing the garment to hold its bold, sculptural shape.
