Crafted by a member of the legendary Antwerp Six, Dries Van Noten often skipped classes at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts to gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry. In his own words, “In the early ’80s, as a young guy from Antwerp, my dream was to have a voice in fashion.”

His namesake brand launched in 1986 and is known for his bold usage of colors, layers, and fabrics. His garments would often draw inspiration from different cultures and eras.
