60s Dumler and Breiden flower vase

Dumler & Breiden was founded in 1883 by Peter Dümler and his brother-in-law Albert Breiden. In the early 20th century, the brand produced artistic ceramics, including decorative vases, pots and bowls. Their handmade products were often adorned with geometric and abstract motifs. Additionally, this piece has an interlocked symbol of 'DB' engraved on its base, which is an indication of rarity. The full text 'Dumler and Breiden' was used from the 1980s onwards instead. In the 1950s, the company had become one of West Germany's leading ceramic manufacturers and ceased operations in 1992.
