Arguably one of fashion most recognizable symbol — The Orb. Vivienne Westwood wanted a logo that embodies her ethos of blending tradition with a futuristic aesthetic.
While experimenting with British Insignias, she settled on the orb found on the coronation regalia and crown jewels. To further incorporate her beliefs of bringing future aesthetic to the insignia, she added saturn rings which she saw from astrology magazines.
This symbol has become synonymous with her brand and remains beloved by the masses even 38 years later.
