Founded in 1988, Comme Des Garcons Shirt served as a diffusion line for the exploration of, you guessed it, shirts. It is also known for its highly collaborative projects with notable creatives such as Yue Minjun, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Supreme, and many more.
For Fall/Winter 2022, the collection featured shirts accentuated with gingham checks and intentionally undone edges, creating the illusion of layers. Quilted outerwear and accessories were also prominent, apt for the cold season. Additionally, the collection included a collaboration with French urban artist Invader, known for his mosaic, retro 8-bit ceramic street art.
This quilted vest is reminiscent of a cyclist’s water bag vest and features hidden compartments and loops to house a water bag.
